It's the weekend. Time to wind down from another busy work week. Whether you are a stay at home parent, in an office everyday, seeing clients at their offices, it is exhausting. The demands that each of our jobs has on us wear us down.Having to set that alarm clock every morning, get up, get ourselves and maybe family ready and out the door for the day, day after day, five days in a row...
Take Saturday morning to rest and recharge your batteries. Do a fun project that is just for you, something that makes you happy. This is one of the best ways I have found to come back around after a long week. I like to make jewelry or write or read a good book. The point is to find and carve out a time just for you.
Tomorrow is Saturday! Do you really need to set that alarm clock for anything in particular? Don't let your mind override your body. Listen to what this magical and mystical body tells you. Listen to what it needs. Our bodies give us all the signs that we need to take care of it. It is up to us, in our brains to shut out all the noise around us and listen. Try it. You'll see that you will be able to hear and see the signs.
Tomorrow is Saturday! It is a day of rest and family. A day to go out and explore something new. A new place, make a new friend, or find a new peaceful place that is just for you.
Enjoy your weekend and you'll see that when Monday comes you'll be ready to take charge of the world once again. This weekend is for you. Take it!
It's Wednesday! Half way through the work week. What do you have planned for today? I will spend some of my time with my daughters kindergarten class. Volunteering time to the school or to a charity I believe in is important to me. I like to be part of my community and I like to be an active part of my children's lives. That's one of the reasons I have chosen a career path that allows me to work from home and set my own hours. I will also go see a client and begin working on the new website. Hopefully we will have it up soon. I'll continue to have updates as we go. Have a wonderful and successful day!
Good Monday morning to all! I want to wish you a successful week in whatever you plan. Life is full of changes and uncertainty. One of the best things we can do for ourselves is learn to roll with it. Accept that life's best laid plans are often not going to happen in the way we would like, but more often than not, they will turn out better than we hoped, because we had a positive attitude about how mother nature interferes with what we want. Some believe that God already has a greater plan for us, and that our life is laid out by Him. Some believe that it is us who plan our destiny and make things happen. I believe it is a combination of both!. God may have a plan laid out for me, but it is up to me to move forward, make progress, create opportunities for myself that will take and lead me down paths that will be of benefit to me, to my family, to my career and to those who are around me. It is up to me to live my best life. What does that mean? It means that I live my life with honesty, integrity, humor, that I take care of myself and others, humility, that I give whenever and however I can to those less fortunate, that I don't judge, that I respect all those around me, I help wherever I can, I donate my time unselfishly for a cause I believe in, I create friendships wherever I can without caring about social status. Life is uncertain, take advantage of everyday and create a memory, smile often and don't forget to be thankful for all the little blessings that will come your way. We get so wrapped up in what we are doing that we often forget to stop and appreciate the green grass, the sun shining above or a kindness that someone has done unselfishly for us. So go out today and conquer the world!
What is Social Media Languages about you ask? As a former interpreter and translator, and the former steward of the Mazal Holocaust Library, combining my language skills and experience with media led me to this. I love people, I love writing, and I love helping others. Interpreting was an interesting career. No 2 days were really the same. But there was a lot of heartache in the courts. I've had enough of that, but I wanted to find an avenue where my skills and talents could be utilized. For those of you who know me, I still volunteer some of my time to causes I'm passionate about. And I still have the the time for my family, which will always come first. But I needed a little something more. Having moved to Colorado recently, and knowing the Library was now in good hands, it was time to find something for me. Something that would bring me happiness and people. Lots of people! This was a natural and easy step. I'm so excited about my new life, both personal and professional. I have spent the better part of my time learning as much as I possibly can on the subject of Social Media. I am now ready to go out and conquer the world, in true Mazal fashion. I hope to work with Interpreters and Translators, helping them develop their own brand and public persona. It is a field that gets little respect as professionals and I really feel like I can help make a difference there. Of course, I don't want to limit myself. There is so much to learn from other industries and people. I can only grow from here. I know this journey will be fun and challenging and I know I will grow as a person and a businesswoman. It's all up from here!
